Maze Lords: Riya & Net combo interview Part II

Second and last section of the longest and most labyrinthine llama interview ever. Don't get lost (it)!

Q: Which aspects of the game are you most interested?

Net: I am mostly interested in tools for interaction between players, especially cooperation. I am also looking forward to crafting (I am really intrigued by alchemy) and exploration. I like solving puzzles and I hope that not every puzzle will be as easy as the torches in Ravenmoor.

Riya: Into Chaos^^ Yeah I don't walk on one line, I will take all. For me the most important aspect of this game is, that I don't have to follow paths. Each situation has more then one ending and everything has final consequenzes.

So I will not run through the game and hopefully don't get bored by it. What me really impressed is the community behind the game, which gives the game depth I never experienced before in a game.

Q: Tell us a little more about your other projects related to the game.

Net: I have no other projects for this game, other than mazes, that is. Not now anyway. I am quite busy within Star Citizen’s community, though my focus shifts slowly to Shroud of the Avatar and even though I had couple of ideas, I do not have time to realize them. So I will focus on making mazes better and more fun! And in my free time I will participate in player-run events and explore the game. I hope you will be able to see me in R9 Bear Tavern Brawl.

Riya: My big other project is the german community. We learn english in school and in it is often a part of our normal life but it is still a barrier because it isn't our mother tongue. That's why we (Olahorand and me) started a thread where you can ask in german, an irc channel, he translated BotA into german, I only proof read it and we translated the release intruction into german. This lowered already the entrance hurdle but there is so much more to do.

The "Black Hole" of Riya. Will be better not write comments here.

Q: Can you say something positive of this purple site?

Net: Actually I learned about your site just after R7. And I really enjoyed your travelling in the city of AFPMMFRC :) I like your site it is fun to read and reading it reminds me of playing as Malkavian in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. If you have not played that game yet, you should and you should be playing as Malkavian;)

This question also reminds me that I should join your 3D art competition! I hope it is not too late to entry.

Riya: I love your site and laugh about many of your stories. I don't understand some jokes, because they are Ultima related. What I really like is your different point of view. It always shows me, there is more to explore and to learn. Keep on your crazy funny work. The world need it.

Net mazes, a perfect place for llamas, Malkavians and Nicolas Cage lovers.

Q:
If you were a crazy animal, which animal will you be?

Net: Well, I think that Homo sapiens is quite crazy animal: walking on two legs, eating cooked food, replacing fur with clothes. If you think about it, we are already the craziest animal on the planet.

Anyway my favourite animals include dragons (they may not be real now, but I am quite confident that with advancements in genetic engineering we will be able to make not only purple llamas, but also dragons).

I am bit worried it will not be legal. Well, my other favourite animals are octopuses and squids. They are clever, they can change shape and colour, they can release ink and they can quickly escape dangerous situations. The last ‘crazy’ animal I like is thorny devil. I can imagine being one. I love how they can drink water, it is quite crazy and genious.

Riya: A platypus^^ This animal just made his own norm. It is a little bit of everything and walks his way. Breaks each law of nature. The pure chaos.

And that's the end! But to finish Net leave us a very interesting videos about "thorny devils", a lizard that is cool and knows it. A shame its color. :P
