The Lords of New Britannia unboxing video

Selene Noctua (who posed for a couple of cards) has made a video with the unboxing of the physical copy of The Lord of New Britannia. I will leave the video here, with some of the pics that she took. If you are lucky maybe you will be able to play this game with her in the Dragoncon!

The video is a little bit blurry (better in a small window), but anyway useful and nice enough:

The quality of the cards are pretty fine. The box cardboard is a little bit light, so probably you will use it more as a decoration than as a box to protect the deck.

Finally, the game rulebook is here!I will add any needed modification in a future, and I hope someone will enjoy the game as much as I did preparing this Llamastic stuff for you. If I have a not very negative feedback I will release a second episode of Elites, with some great new options and a scenario book!

The Lords of New Britannia: And finally the final and supreme elite cards! Tomorrow I will upload the manual. I am working in it, very much, as a pack llama, until the last minute, to make it the most easy and complete for the human brains.

For example, if you take a look to the old cards you will see that I revamped some of the symbols in the descriptions. Before the cards only had swords symbols, and now they are four variations, adding rays, eyes and ankhs. I did it to make the skill faster to recognize and easier to use!

The Lords of New Britannia: Not all Elite cards are vortexly powerful, some even have very significant adverse effects. For example, do you remember that the lower the number the better the level? Yes, that 14 even brokes the low level of our dear Purple Llama!

Luckily, many cards with low level have better skills that the beggar... If you use them wisely you could get an important advantage!

The Lords of New Britannia: The Elites are cards that will be use just in some games, bringing variety and surprise factor to the table. While the basic units represent the generic inhabitants of the island, these cards add some specific creatures to the deck and usually have special rules, sometimes negative.

Our first Elite card will be the jester, the wildcard, the asterisk. And what can be a perfect wildcard in New Brinannia? Exactly, me. Because I am very wild. But if we need any polymorphic creature better use your magic whistle to call a mimic!

Inspired in The Great Dalmuti/Asshole/President this fast and easy to play card-party game has its own rule set, that reflects some aspects of the adventures in Novia, and will make it more funny, diverse and complete. At least for a llama it is. From 3 to 11 players!!!

Today you can enjoy the first card and the reverse. From tomorrow I will add three additional cards to the collection! Every day! Finally I will add the manual, that was revised one million times, since I know pretty well that you humans need very clear instructions.

The cards have the stardard brige size (57mm x 89mm), but I think that they can be printed in bigger formats without any problem. I hope you will like it, or I will kill you!
