Scene Jam winners compilation

Last year Portalarium organized a Unity contests in four parts to design sceneries. It was some time ago and we llamas have a very bad memory. But with a little effort I will try to compile fast what happened in the four events.

Take care! The lunar rifts are a little bit unstable for now and you cannot be sure where they go.

The first scene jam was dedicated to the lunar rifts, the faster way to travel over the world and to get lost in some random black screen.

Actually I prefer any other transport method, you know, the lunar rifts normally send me to the wrong place, but I must admit that this one seems like the Ferrari of the "stonehenges". Who knows? Maybe someday it could send me where there is free food and blood.

Someone drank too much tequila last night.

The second jam was dedicated to one of my favorite places: catacombs. Justin and Kevin Slinger not only won this scene but also the jam number four and even more. They should be rich now, with a house with palm trees in the beach and vodka-mint in their coconuts. Great work!

The true is that they created a very friendly place, especially if you are a vortex animal or the Devourer of Souls. Their passages have a lot of personalized elements and some cute dead bodies. I hope some kind person will invite me to go there someday!

An ideal place to hook up with your girlfriend, at least if you are in the gothic or sado wave.

The third scene was about the design of a village. The first prize (Netnut and Bill Lowe) was quite interesting. During the day is pretty similar to the Little House on the Prairie, but after the sunset is much better. Then the veil of darkness starts.

A storm in the dark night, with its dim lights and strong winds, make the location enough creepy to call it home. The town includes city center, a palisade, a cemetery and probably some werewolves and happy maniacs in the future. Now I only just a good castle lot there. 100% recommended.

You should try to smoke less, humans. Especially black tobacco and plutonium-239.

The fourth jam was the most complex: to pick any piece of Stephen Daniele’s concept art and to tell us a "story". All the scenes seem funny and homely, but I think that the fable that made me feel more exited was the last one, since its very similar to a world that I ravaged some eons ago...

Ah, the good memories! And what about you? Do you have any favorite? If you want to know who was the best of the best for Portalium don't lose the opportunity to check the video of the grand prize.

Take a look and enjoy the day!
