Release 7 blues, my little feedback

Today is the birthday of Richard Garriott, the big "B", the perfect excuse to support the game and to buy the cake in the add-on store. I already bought it, so better I'm going to write my very modest and positive review of the R7. I could not play too much but this is what my empty brain thinks:

* Graphically the game is starting to look very well or, at least, much better that before. They still need to work with the equilibriums and lights, but I like it. Well, more purple...

* The players creativity is starting to be crazy and amazing, and the tools to help them are growing. I know that it will need limits, but I hope some flexibility.

* They said that this release had no big content, but for me just for the brand new overworld map is one of the best done releases that we had. It make me feel that the game is much more finished.

* I like that they added new face options and I'm waiting for more in a near future. A small detail but nice one for our psycho aspect aspirations. The release had other little improvements like the new recipes system, but I don't like to work didn't check it very well.

* New places, the best one for me was the holydays island. It's a good place to put your beach bungalow and drink coconuts in the sand, but I will need some signals there. To be lost in an exploration area is ok, but in a housing one... I could not find even the fast food restaurant.

Nice new island with gorgeous landscape. They (me) call it the golden coast.

* Call it "Sims Online" I don't care. The housing and the houses are everyday more and more superb. My only concern is about the very small village houses. Now with the new row houses with small plots I think they will need a bonus or some plus to make them enough attractive.

* They changed the R8 and now will be PVP and combat centered. Brace yourselves, bugs are coming! (And I love it!)

* I saw a lot of people with pants in this release. I was totally impressed, even a little scared.

Then, even without any supreme new content I will give it a solid 4 hooves over five. But you know, I'm an insane llama. Maybe next one release is better and I could give it just one hoof. So nevermind.
